Reach For The Stars with the Indian title, Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, will be making a comeback on Zee World on Monday, February 3.
Kalpana is the daughter of Kamla, who is a domestic worker. Kamla works for the Kapoors, Sahil and Neetu. Kamla and Neetu gave birth on the same day. Kamla has fed Neetu’s daughter Pakhi ever since she was small and would neglect Kalpana. Neetu did not like Kamla.
As the kids grew, Kalpana continued to feel neglected by her mother, who spent most of her time worrying about Pakhi. However, Kalpi struggles to fulfill her mother’s dream by becoming successful.
On the other hand, Raghav Singhania, a rich business man whose only motive is to get revenge from the Kapoor’s who murdered his father when he was a kid. Raghav has always been indebted to Kamla (Kalpi’s mother) as she had helped him from the clutches of Kapoors who wanted to adopt him and take away all his wealth. He gets attracted to Kalpi’s sweet, simple and caring nature, and falls head over heels in love with her. Eventually, Kalpana understands Raghav’s feelings and reciprocates. Both Raghav and Kalpana fall in love with each other and with blessing on their parents, plan for their wedding.
However, Raghav Singhania ends up marrying Pakhi. He later reveals that he found his mother and she told him the Kapoors killed his father, so he married Pakhi to get revenge. He realises that Pakhi is not at fault and wants to divorce her so that he can marry Kalpi, but his mother doesn’t want it to happen because she wants revenge.
Although Raghav and Kalpi went through so many challenges, however, love prevailed at the end with so much difficulty, betrayal and lies.
