Veteran Indian TV Actor, Amita Udgata Dies

Veteran Indian actor, Amita Udgata, who became a household name while playing the role of
Amma’ in Star Plus’ popular social drama Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya
has died.

She died on Tuesday night due to lung failure
after being hospitalized and placed on life support for last 3-4 days.

The veteran actor has many popular TV shows
to her credit. She has done shows like Maharana Pratap, Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo
and Doli Armaanon Ki (Lies of the heart) among others.

She is survived by two sons, Ruchin and
Rishab. Her last rite was performed today, Thursday.
